Product Technologist

The Company

This is an exciting chance to work for rapidly growing food brand with health at the top of their agenda, who are making waves across numerous categories. They are now seeking a proactive Food / Quality Technologist to ensure the safety, quality and legality of their products as well as support the innovation of new products.

The Role

This is a really diverse position where you will be involved in managing the technical & quality standards of the company’s product range.

The role will encompass legislative and regulatory responsibility for products which includes specifications, labelling, artwork, allergen and nutritional data.  You will also be the brand’s quality guardian and work closely with co- manufacturing partners to keep products at the highest of standards; investigating and resolving any quality issues.

You work cross-functionally with marketing, innovations and operations to support product development.  This will be for existing ranges and products within the innovations pipeline so you could be working in the innovations kitchen or overseeing factory trials. 

You will form and maintain amazing relationships with key stakeholders to continue to achieve customer satisfaction and product excellence.  You will ensure the integrity and values of the brand are championed throughout every aspect of your role.

The Person

We are looking for an outstanding technologist with a Food Science / Technology qualification who has previous experience in a similar position. Ideally this will be from a retail (high street or major multiple) or food manufacturing environment where you have gained a good understanding of how to work as part of a brand.

You will need excellent communication, stakeholder management, planning and organisational skills along with the ability to make a positive impact with dynamic teams. In addition you’ll be adept at managing multiple projects, be detail conscious and have a structured approach in order to keep up with the pace of this role.
