The Role

This is a great opportunity to gain insight and exposure as a key member of the Product team in a broad role within a vibrant, burgeoning business.

You’ll develop inspirational products that are first to market and help the brand excel in their health conscious categories.  Using your amazing food skills and knowledge of the latest trends you’ll help develop new ideas as well as ensuring the existing portfolio is performing well, tweaking products to reflect changes in the market, ingredients or costs.

No two days will ever be the same as you take ownership of diverse NPD projects from ideation stage all the way through to product launch and beyond. A champion of innovation, you’ll play a key role in developing pioneering ranges, using your creative flair and commercial acumen to push the boundaries to fashion ranges that consumers will love, whilst helping to shape the brand direction during this exciting period of growth.

Another aspect of this multifaceted role will involve working closely with manufacturing partners and suppliers, building strong rapport with key contacts and managing resources to ensure the prefect production of your creative gems.

As well as managing the NPD critical path, you’ll use your strong organisational skills to arrange product benchmarking, quality panels, carry out NPD reviews, competitor analysis and create customer samples. 

The Candidate

We're looking for a talented Product Developer who has the creative and commercial panache to deliver amazing products for a fast paced brand. You must have an exceptional palate, really understand flavour profiles and how to translate food trends into ‘first to market’ products.

Experience will have been gained within food from either a manufacturing, brand or retail environment but you must have proven NPD successes, can hold your own when it comes to recipe development and be comfortable briefing suppliers. You’ll also need to have first class communication and organisational skills as you will be organising meetings and running panels.
