An experienced Procurement Manager is required for this organisation who will have an International remit, with a major focus on UK, France and other European activities.

THE PROCUREMENT MANAGER

This role could be home based with 2 or 3 days per week based at our client's office in Folkestone, Kent.

The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading our European Procurement Strategy for the supply of Finished/Semi-Finished goods and services via a range of sub-contract manufacturers and our client's partners globally. Key responsibilities will include:Engaging with stakeholders in the creation and delivery of Strategies for specific spend categories using their input to close supply gapsIdentifying new suppliers through the Vendor selection process to support the Procurement and Global Business Strategy



THE IDEAL CANDIDATEWill need a strong background in Procurement within a multi-national organisationBe CIPS Qualified or hold another relevant Professional QualificationHave proven Procurement experience with a track record of delivering strategies and cost improvementsHave a strong understanding of End-to-End Supply Chain ideally within a pharmaceutical regulatory environmentHave excellent English both written and oral, other languages particularly French would be desirableHave strong analytical abilities and the ability to resolve issues effectively.Be a skilled negotiator regarding cost, relationships and contracts
