Engineering Supervisor

Do you have previous experience leading a team of multi-disciplined engineers within the food industry?

Our client, one of the largest privately owned food companies and market leader in their field have an opening for an Engineering Team Leader to join the business.

Key responsibilities include:
*Ensuring the planned maintenance schedule is delivered, effectively.
*Carrying out root cause analysis and providing technical feedback on daily issues.
*Writing permits to work and managing contractors.
*Evaluating engineering activity by auditing work carried out.
*Identifying continuous improvements.
*Complying with GMP standards at all times.

Required skills and experience:
*Time-served / apprenticeship (desirable)
*Qualified to level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline
*17th / 18th Edition
*Familiarity with PLC's
*Lean manufacturing
*IT literate

This is a Monday-Friday (double days) role, offering a competitive; salary, pension, annual leave, training and development opportunities.
