Company

Excellent innovative company who design and deliver turnkey projects to the food industry are looking for a multi-skilled service/installation engineer to join the team. They manufacture machinery across the UK and have been in operation for almost 20 years

The person

This is an ideal opportunity to work with a small but progressive company. You will have your own autonomy and report directly to the Project Engineer. This is a small organisation and very personable. The right character is just as important to them ie your are not just a number. You must be prepared to travel as they work with sites across the UK therefore overnight stays may be needed

Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Complete written reports on maintenance work carried out and identify future work
  • Plan and implement improvement ideas to increase the throughput and efficiency of the operating plants
  • Installation of equipment, fault finding, servicing and trouble shooting
  • Welding and fabrication
  • Electrical fault find and maintenance
  • Travelling to different sites to install or service
  • Completion of relevant documentation and support

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years in a multi skilled engineering environment (preferably in the food industry)
  • Apprenticed trained or formal qualification
  • 16th or 17 addition IEE wiring regulation preferred
  • Welding and fabrication experience
  • Autocad and Solidworks beneficial
  • Physically fit
  • Good communicator and team worker
