Brand Manager FMCG - Brand Leader
This is a really exciting role to be Brand Manager for one of the country's leading FMCG Brands, a household name, consumed by millions - you will know it! Our client is part of a major international food group, they are the brand leader in several of their product groups in both the retail and foodservice market. They have been consistently successful, developing organically, and their products are consumed at home by millions.
As a result of continued growth, they are now looking for a Brand Manager to help further develop their leading brand and grow the business further.
Reporting in to the Head of Brand Marketing, the business structure however remains lean and fast so your attitude and approach to work are key. The company and role will not suit an ivory tower marketer; this is somewhere to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
Managing the P+L for the brand your challenge would be to develop growth - identifying insights and category growth drivers, managing a challenging innovation pipeline, delivering new packaging and product formats and driving brand activation and promotional initiatives in conjunction with the company's major customers and markets. This is a role for a marketer who is passionate about innovation and product; a marketer who understands the importance of authenticity of the brand and product quality to attracting and retaining consumer interest and engagement.
Our ideal candidate
Probably a graduate, you will have been working in FMCG branded marketing for a couple of years and now want to develop your career further in what is a challenging yet exciting role. You will have particular strengths in product innovation, above the line advertising and commercial management. You will have an excellent understanding of the grocery retail channels.
This is a dynamic and successful business and this role will be challenging and demanding and so will enable the right candidate to develop their marketing and commercial skills.
The successful applicant will report to the Head of Brand Marketing and live within a reasonable distance of Bristol, as when we are back to normal the role will be 2-3 days per week in the office.
