A much loved Cornish brand, Rodda’s have been operating from our Creamery in Redruth for over 130 years. We are the market leader in clotted cream as well as producing double cream, bottled milk, butter and various dairy ingredients. Our premium products are enjoyed from Land’s End to John O’Groats, by retail, food service and manufacturing customers as well as exported globally. To ensure the special quality of our products we directly source Cornish milk from our network of farms, all based within 30 miles from our Creamery.

Rodda’s is a family owned business with strong family values that enables our employees to work in a safe, ethical and supportive environment. An opportunity has arisen for a strong, values focussed Production Manager with excellent dairy production experience to join our team.

Responsibilities

You’ll be manufacturing high quality products, that maintain the reputation of the brand, ensuring that production runs smoothly day to day, in a safe operating environment.

You’ll be responsible for managing the entire production process from customer order, through production planning to delivery on time and in full and meeting our quality expectations.  To achieve this, you’ll have full responsibility for the production resources of the company, reporting to the Operations Director and supported by fellow members of the Operations team, to deliver short and long term objectives of the business.

Experience in working in a fast paced environment and leading, coaching and developing teams to achieve production, people, financial and environmental targets will be essential.

As a member of the Senior Management Team, you’ll be expected to work closely with cross functional colleagues, to have a big picture focus and you’ll have a voice in any business changes implemented.
