About Our Client

One of the UK's leading Food Manufacturers is looking for an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance Manager. This food manufacturer supplies an impressively diverse range of customers in the UK and exports internationally. Starting life as a humble family-owned business they have grown exponentially, whilst maintaining this culture at their state of the art manufacturing and distribution facility.

The role

You will provide Health & Safety support to all aspects of the business as well as developing and managing a clear sustainability strategy.
Reporting into the Operations Director, you will have a variety of responsibilities ranging from maintaining and reviewing the company Health & Safety policies, developing a clear sustainability vision that is aligned to the companies' values and customer expectations. You will ensure the effective application of all HSE requirements are met to sustain and enhance the overall strategy.

The candidate

To be successful in this role, you must hold an IOSH membership and have extensive and demonstrable experience of HSE Leadership across a food production, warehouse and logistics facility. A NEBOSH Diploma and an Energy Management Qualification are highly desirable.

It is also essential that you are a confident communicator who is good at building and maintaining strong relationships at different levels, as well as having a problem solving and analytical mind.
