Technical Manager

The Company

They are now seeking a proactive Technical Manager to ensure the safety, quality and legality of their products as well as support the innovation of new products.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Product, this is a really diverse position where you will be involved in managing the technical & quality standards of the company’s product ranges. The role will encompass legislative and regulatory responsibility for products and you will be the brand’s quality guardian, working closely with co-manufacturing partners to keep products at the highest of standards; investigating and resolving any quality issues.  You will also scope out potential new manufacturing partners to support with new product development.

You will work cross-functionally with marketing, innovations and operations to support product development.  You will form and maintain amazing relationships with key stakeholders to continue to achieve customer satisfaction and product excellence.  You will ensure the integrity and values of the brand are championed throughout every aspect of your role.

The Person

We are looking for an outstanding Technical Manager or a very talented Product  / Quality technologist with a Food Science / Technology qualification who has previous experience of working in a similar role.  Dairy or plant based experience would be amazing but not essential.  Ideally you will have experience of working with 3^rd party / co-manufacturing partners and thrive in a fast paced environment where you can juggle everything under the technical umbrella.

You will need excellent communication, stakeholder management, planning and organisational skills along with the ability to make a positive impact in this ambitious business. In addition you’ll be adept at managing multiple projects, be detail conscious and have a structured approach in order to keep up with the pace of business growth.
