Overview

To improve production efficiency, achieve key operational performance objectives, and reduce costs in a dynamic and fast paced food environment while ensuring Quality and Health and Safety standards are not compromised.  You will be leading the departmental team, achieving targets, and promoting efficient and streamlined processes to make best use of available resources.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing production and ensuring safe operation of factory
• Ensuring order fulfilment and smooth operation of the factory day to day
• Work with stakeholders and develop LEAN manufacturing techniques along with continuous improvement programmes
• Establish, manage and deliver on KPI’s
• Dealing with day to day staff relation queries
• Training and upskilling of workforce when required
• Identify and implement efficiencies across production areas
• Assist and manage delivery of key projects
• Manage the team and get the most out of the team, promoting a positive culture
• Communicate and implement adherence to company policies, procedures and standards
• Induction of new employees into the business
• Identify and manage work related disciplinary actions
• Train and develop all levels from General operators to team leaders and supervisors
• Control stock management
• Ensure an audit ready environment
• Reduce overtime

Candidate

• Advanced knowledge of NAV, TMS and internal operating procedures
• 3^rd level degree
• Lean Six Sigma Green or preferably black belt
• Previous food manufacturing experience
