Technical Manager

This is a £multi-million business established and developed over the past twenty five
years and are one of the most progressive and fast expanding technical innovators in
the food industry. They are operating at the cutting edge of nutritional dairy
ingredients development, having established a sophisticated modern manufacturing
facility in the heart of Wales.
This is a key appointment in the senior site management team responsible for
managing the complex technical function within a highly-automated manufacturing
facility that utilises state of the art, membrane, evaporation spray drying and packing
processes. Managing dedicated Laboratory and Quality team, you will develop and
co-ordinate root cause analysis on technical issues. You contribute to defining will define
technical, quality assurance and process systems within the business, providing
practical technical solutions for continuous improvement and delivering new
product innovations.
Ideally, they are seeking a candidate with leadership experience in factory quality management, 
dairy or liquid processing would be a bonus. With an excellent degree in food technology, 
science, chemistry or related subject, you will have proven project management skills, capable
of controlling budgets and possess hands on experience of translating product and
process concepts into full scale production. Assertive and ambitious, you will be
proactive in seeking continuous improvement both processes and people.
