National Account Manager - Plants
Our client has been developing consistently over the last few years and is highly respected by its customer base for great quality and consistent availability. It is amongst the leaders in its sector and due to further expansion they are looking for an Account Manager to join them to help manage one of their largest accounts.
Reporting in to the General Manager your role will be to manage the customer relationship on a daily basis, reacting to order patterns, pushing NPD, and solving the daily issues as they arise. In addition you will be required to seek out all opportunities and exploit them.
They are looking ideally for someone with horticultural knowledge however they would consider someone from a fresh food or FMCG background. Experience in dealing with high street retailers or smaller accounts such wholesalers, caterers and non retail accounts is needed, however, more importantly, the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate real drive, determination and tenacity which has resulted in a track record of profitable sales growth during their career.
The Salary is negotiable upon experience but is likely to be circa £30 -40k + benefits
