Opportunity to be part of a European food manufacturing company at the forefront of their sector. We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join a small, dynamic, fast paced Planning team at their facility in East Yorkshire. If you are experienced in food manufacturing planning and understand the sector please read on.

You will produce a production schedule for the site that enables achievement of a competitive cost per tonne, whilst ensuring customer demands and finished goods inventory requirements are fulfilled

Plan the site production resources through finalisation of the weekly schedule and the optimisation of the forthcoming 3-4 week horizon.

Provide an overview on transport utilisation and identify cost reduction opportunities.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in production planning in food manufacturing. SAP/3 knowledge in the MM and PP modules will allow you to quickly settle into this role.
