This is one of those fantastic opportunities that doesn't come up all that often! My client is recruiting for a Head of Technical to join a well known brand at their manufacturing site based in the South East England. The company offers a great package as well as other benefits and has won numerous awards for being a great place to work!

You will ideally be a Senior Technical Manager or already working as a Head of Technical and have a very good understanding of BRC, HACCP, supplier audits. You will ideally have worked with a range of products before including chilled and ambient. You will have a small team that reports into you so you must also be happy managing a team.

You will be in charge of your teams development ensuring that all members of the Technical team are doing their job to the best of their ability and to make sure that product safety is met at all times.

You will ideally have experience in Continuous Improvement and be joining this company full of new ideas as the company are always looking to improve their workflow and driving CI will be a big part of this role.

In order to be considered for this role you will need to:

- Have over 5 years experience working in the food industry ideally as a Senior Technical Manager or Head of Technical

- Have previous auditing experience and have HACCP Level 4

- A degree in food science or a similar degree
