R&D Process Plant Technician - Midlands

Leading food business looking to strengthen its Research & Development team…

This is a great opportunity for a bright and ambitious individual looking to progress a career in the food industry. You'll be joining a successful food business that really invests in its team to nurture and grow talent from within.

You will be based at a food manufacturing site, working within the Pilot Plant. You'll be supporting the Process Technology team in running pilot plant trials. This will involve managing all stock, packaging, equipment and bookings to ensure the smooth running of the pilot plant. You'll ensure Health & Safety and food manufacturing standards are adhered to.

This business manufactures a diverse range of innovative products supplied into the major UK retailers. You'll be working on development trials for brand new concepts and work to improve existing product ranges.

This role would suit a recent graduate interested in food technology although a degree isn't essential. We are looking for a fast-learner with a positive attitude who wants to progress. You'll need strong communication and organisational skills. Ideally, you'll have some hands-on experience within a food manufacturing environment.
