Outbound Officer

Getting the final product out the door and into the arms of the paying customer is arguably one of the most important jobs in any supply chain. That's why our client is looking for a reliable and tenacious Outbound Officer to join their growing team at their food manufacturing site based in Peterborough. Initially offering a 6-month contract, this role will likely turn into a permanent position for an outstanding candidate.

Reporting into the Outbound Manager, you will be responsible for everything from receiving sales orders to the dispatch of orders to customers. This is an extremely fast-paced role where accuracy and productivity must be at an all-time high.

It is essential in this role for you to be a good communicator as you will be required to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as use SAP up to date with any orders and amendments.

To be considered for this position you must have experience in Supply Chain in either an FMCG or food environment. This role would suit anyone with a supply chain admin, stock control, logistics coordinating, supply chain planning or customer service coordinating background.
