In this dynamic role you’ll support the Head of Commercial and Commercial Managers with the day to day running of the commercial function. You will liaise with key customer contacts, analyse sales, volumes and profit targets as well as provide customer KPI scorecards in order to drive commercial success.
You’ll assist with the development of business plans, producing reports to monitor SKU performance whilst working with key stakeholders internally and customers to deliver successful launches and promotional activities. In addition, you’ll be carrying out store visits as well as working with the Category teams to complete benchmarking & product recommendations for customer presentations. You will also manage specific projects by building strong working relationships with your customer. Finally, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance of all internal commercial documents and undertaking additional supportive tasks where required.
We are looking for an outgoing and motivated commercial professional with a food or business related degree who has some experience in a commercially focussed role within the food industry. You will have developed excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be commercially astute and you’ll ideally have worked with major retailer accounts.
To succeed in this role you will need to have a proactive approach, exceptional project management skills, are able to assess priorities and resolve issues swiftly within a fast paced environment.
