Process Development Manager

The Company

The company has been going through an exciting period of transformation and they are now seeking a highly talented Process Development who can align their NPD process across multiple manufacturing sites.

The Role

You will lead a team of Process Technologists and take responsibility for ensuring an efficient, robust and commercially viable process for new product development.  This will be from the concept handover stage all the way through to product launch, assuring brand and retailer brand integrity throughout the whole process.  You will work closely with NPD and factory teams, as well as customers to bring stunning new products to market.

You will work closely with the Head of Quality & Compliance to deliver key strategic initiatives that will improve NPD processes and systems as well as enhancing the policy for quality. The role will involve working with technical and value optimisation teams to agree product redevelopment / EPD priorities and manage these from project inception to launch.

The Person

Highly focused and driven, you’ll be confident in your approach with a boundless passion for food and a real drive to deliver exceptional products. You’ll have previous experience within a process development role, have worked with the major retailers, understand how to manage a critical path and be skilful in running multiple complex projects.

You will be able to inspire and empower a team across multiple sites, be operationally savvy as well as commercially astute.  As well as being all about the detail, you will need to be solutions focussed, calm and organised under pressure with the ability to prioritise.
