Key Aspects of the Production Team Leader role include:As Manufacturing Team Leader your area of accountability will be across all manufacturing areas (Mixing, Production and Packing). You will be required to develop your teams to perform to the highest standards, creating a positive team environment which produces products safely to the highest quality, the lowest cost and ensuring that line performance targets are met (OEE, Line Speed & Planned Downtime). With cross functional teams (Engineering and Technical) you will be required to ensure that the kit is functioning to the correct standard and that all people and areas adhere to all policy and procedures defined by site.
Candidates will have a strong work ethic, excellent manufacturing background from within the food industry and will be happy to work in a cold production environment. Other key attributes will include:Preferable previous experience in similar/same supervisory role in a food manufacturing environmentKnowledge of machinery and experience in chemical use and handlingAn understanding and experience of food processing operationsPossess good IT skills and have working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
