About Our Client
We are working with a fresh produce supplier, that has fresh fruit coming in from around the world. They have their own farms and are looking to recruit a number of passionate and motivated QC's to work in there ripening facility.
About the Job
Reporting into the Senior QC, as QC you will be responsible for checking the quality of all fruit coming into the business. You will make decisions on quality and organise the sorting of goods if and when required for customer specifications. Prepare a weekly schedule of arrivals and communicate within the business, participate in weekly quality meetings. Occasional customer visits if and when required
The Ideal Candidate
This will suit a fresh produce QC \ QA. Proven experience working within a fresh produce environment ideally fruit. Knowledge of HACCP and sampling practices
Excellent communication at all levels. Able to manage and work effectively within a busy team. Good IT skills. Full driving licence and car. Flexible working shifts
