Food Technical Manager - Surrey

Overseeing the global supply base, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and legal requirements, you'll be working closely with international factories and UK retailers and managing the internal technical team.

As Technical Manager you will ensure all suppliers are compliant with BRC and customer requirements, organising and completing internal and supplier audits and visits. This will involve a significant amount of long-haul travel once international flights are permitted. You will also ensure that NPD projects are managed from concept to launch including packaging development and approval and technical specifications.

We are looking for a technical professional with a strong Food Science/Technology degree and audit qualification. You will need to have worked with major UK retailers and have a good understanding of HACCP, BRC and retailer standards.

People with a can-do approach, tenacity and drive do well here. You will need to be highly organised, able to plan your time and prioritise, juggling a number of different projects whilst managing a team.
