Excellent opportunity for a Senior Automation Engineer / Electrical Engineer to join a market leading FMCG business.
My client is a highly successful business that has invested heavily across the factory recently, and because this role is based at a site that has over 1000 employees, career progression opportunities are realistic.
As an automation engineer, you will take ownership of the maintenance of all Packaging and Automated equipment.
You will be working and maintaining several packaging lines, driven by PLC automated machinery including conveyors, weighers, robotics, printers, and scanners. Your duties will also include fault finding and programming on PLCs.
Ideally, you will have worked as a Maintenance Technician / Electrical Engineer or Automation Engineer within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry and have experience working with robotics and automation equipment.
It is essential that you are apprentice trained and educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
