Role: Electrical Engineer
Location: Lincolnshire
Shift: Panama Days
Salary: up to £40,000

Henderson Brown are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer for one of our clients based in the Lincolnshire area.
Our client is one of the most respected and forward-thinking businesses in their industry and has built a great reputation from constantly investing in their machinery and infrastructure. With a state-of-the-art facility and some fantastic growth plans over the next few years, you will be joining the business at a great time.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
*Be qualified to an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in electrical engineering.
*Have experience working in the food or FMCG industry.
*Understand the principles and practice of food safety and maintenance within a food manufacturing environment.
*Be highly accurate and work to a high standard with good attention to detail.
*Be swift and methodical in your faulting skills whilst reacting to production requirements.
*Have a flexible approach to work.
*Be an effective communicator at all levels.
*Be a team player with good attention to detail.
*Have proven problem-solving skills.
*Have the ability to motivate yourself and others in the team.
Your accountabilities will be, but not limited to:
*To ensure the packhouse lines and all designated machinery is safe operational and effective thereby allowing optimal targets to be met.
*To perform all work requirements as per reports of faults including PLCs and electronics, as per planned schedules and in line with RHS, environmental requirements and food safety.
*To identify any faults or concerns arising from PPM and consult line manager where appropriate.
*To undertake other ad hoc duties and tasks as they arise including project type work from conception to completion.
*Undertake continuous improvement activity following the relevant improvement tools and techniques.
*To actively promote best practice concerning Hygiene, Health & Safety standards, good housekeeping and support the Company's efforts to minimise its environmental impact and adopt environmental best practice.
*Follow best practice concerning the control of engineering spares.
