Health & Safety Officer

"Safety doesn't happen by accident…" it often takes a team of dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to walk into their workplace and engage their colleagues in all things Health & Safety. This is certainly the case at a business I'm currently working with who are looking to hire a Health & Safety Officer to work closely under the Health & Safety Manager currently on site.

Working in a collaborative and hands-on way, the successful candidate will be able to hold their own and use their knowledge of Health & Safety policies and legislations as well as their charismatic attitude to ensure all compliance is met on site, by every individual. You will be managing systems managing systems and supporting risk management processes among other duties within the department.

This is a great opportunity for someone to step up into a more senior position and pave the way to continue growing their career in a business that really invests in their people.

To be considered for this role you must have a few years' experience at a similar level position in either a food manufacturing of FMCG environment. You must also hold a NEBOSH certificate in Health & Safety or equivalent qualification.
