Packaging / Automation Engineer

Salary - £40-£45k pa.

About the Job

Due to continued investment in new equipment, the company now requires Packaging / Automation Engineers based initially Days but then moving on to 4 on 4 off (2days, 2 nights) after a period of induction. You will be working as part of a brand new team of four Automation / Packaging Line Shift Engineers. Ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards, maximising machine efficiencies, on multiple fast-moving packaging lines, driven by PLC automated machinery.

The Ideal Candidate

You will come from a fast-moving machinery background within food or packaging ideally and should be able to work on your own initiative. Experience within an automated/Robotics environment is critical and it goes without saying that excellent interpersonal and time management skills to deal with the response time pressures is essential.
