We create, manufacture and package everything on-site at our home in rural Suffolk. The Stokes brand reaches the finest shops, restaurants, hotels, pubs and delis across the Food Service and Retail sectors in the UK, as well as several key export markets.
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Planning and Procurement Manager to join our growing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall production planning strategy, in line with Lean Manufacturing principles, whilst maintaining excellent customer service levels, agreed levels of stockholding, and promoting production efficiency throughout.
Reporting directly to the Operations Director the Role will also hold responsibility for our Stock controller and the MRP/PO system where excellent procurement skills would also be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities and experience: -
- ERP knowledge and experience,
- Experience from within an FMCG business
- Lean manufacturing techniques
- Excellent IT skills
- Continuous Improvement techniques
- Project Management (supply chain systems)
- People Management
- Salary £38k-£40k dependent on experience plus health care and pension.
