Stock Control Manager

We are seeking a talented individual to work for an innovative, high quality manufacturer which supplies to various retailers throughout the UK.
As Stock Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that adequate stock levels are maintained in accordance with company targets plus effectively manage the stock control team, ensuring all tasks are managed to meet business objectives.
This is a strategic level role where you will drive change and procedural compliance with a strong focus on actioning slow-moving stock; to police compliance to agreed buffer stock levels and reduce the number of stock adjustments currently made.
You will carry out regular analysis and reporting on stock movements, liaising regularly with the Production Administrators to improve stock usage efficiency.
You will have strong, in-depth experience of stock control management, stock reporting, forecasting, analysis, and meeting KPI’s within a fast-paced FMCG environment, most ideally food manufacturing.
Strong communication and organisational skills are essential as you will be building robust internal relationships.
You will also have excellent IT skills including Excel and ideally have previous experience using Stock Control software (Access Supply Chain) would be beneficial as would line management experience.
The Stock Control Manager job is based in the East Anglia region and is paying £30,000 - £35,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
