About our Client
Our client is a leading foodservice provider and specialises in a variety of fresh food categories. They supply national accounts through pub groups, restaurants, casual dining and out of home channels. They have helped some of the big high street names grow over the years and have a great reputation for quality products and service. The team is passionate about food and the job they do. The business is all about building long term relationships with its customers and delivering the very best.

About the Role
This role is all about delivering YOY account growth and leading your team to see that core accounts grow. You will utilise your experience in the foodservice channel to built long-term relationships with customers and increase their basket spends. You will be mindful of margins and be able to push through price increases when required. You will go into every client meeting asking yourself the question, 'how can I win more business. You will be able to lead and motivate a team and deal with a variety of personalities and stakeholders. The scope of this role could extend to potential food manufacturing clients too.

The Ideal Candidate
As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have a proven track record of delivering account growth with accounts in the £500k+ bracket within the foodservice channel. You will have a great can-do attitude and be motivated and driven to deliver for customers and the business. You will be emotionally intelligent and will know when to push for more business. You will be a real influencer and have a track record of developing and motivating your team. You will have a background in a short shelf life food product and be able to work at a real pace.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have experience in managing national corporate accounts in the foodservice sector with a large turnover. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to grow accounts YOY and discuss what you did to deliver this growth. You will be a real difference-maker and be able to demonstrate the difference that you made to deliver. You will also need to be able to demonstrate your ability to lead a team to deliver a commercial business strategy.

As a guide the role will likely sit in the £70-80k salary bracket, and will also include a car, bonus and a strong benefits package.
