Henderson Brown are currently recruiting for the role of Engineering Manager with a large scale food manufacturing business for one of their smaller sites based in Northamptonshire.

This role will see the successful candidate oversee the engineering department covering an engineering team of 4, the site is currently going through a lot of changes and will need this person to oversee those changes. This role will be perfect for someone looking to take a step up into management as there will be a lot of assistance provided from senior level management or someone who is currently managing a small team and looking for a change of scenery, this will be a great step for a candidate who wants to make changes and progress in their career.

The successful candidate will:
*Have previous experience in supervisory or management.
*Have worked in the food manufacturing industry.
*Be electrically trained/experienced.
*Need to able to communicate at all levels.
*Be a strong leader and provide direction.
*Be able to balance the day to day involvement to run an active department through their direct reports
*Keep a keen eye on costs and be able to manage small projects from start to finish.
*Be a forward thinking individual able to build on a strong platform and develop the engineering team to meet the needs of the site
*Continue to drive the performance of the business through the need to constantly evolve and change.
*Additional skills such as CAD would be beneficial.
