Pay: £12 - £15 per hour

This role will play a pivotal part within the engineering team as a valued team member you will be working with your team to complete all tasks handed out by the lead engineer or engineering manager, some of these tasks will include efficient and effective maintenance service to machinery on-site within the factory to carrying breakdown repairs & PPM across site ensuring tasks are prioritised so that repairs are carried out with production downtime being kept to a minimum.

Role Requirements & Responsibilities
*Breakdowns/Fault Finding: Promptly attend machinery breakdowns/malfunctions carrying out such work as necessary to ensure that machinery and equipment is adequately maintained,
*Preventative Maintenance: Maintain a planned preventative maintenance schedule, ensuring such work is carried out as necessary to ensure that equipment and services are adequately maintained. Work to aid the site in maximise yields, quality, and profit, while minimising cost. Ensure all equipment is always in good safe working order, provisioning for timely servicing and repair. Ensure all equipment is registered and managed as such.
*Commitment to actively invest in your own training and development of yourself as a means to achieving the strategic business objectives.
*Ensure that all product used is compliant with Food Safety regulations, customer protocols and specifications.
*Ensure that product meets customers and the companys own quality standards aiming for them to be the number 1 for quality.
*Participate in improvement projects aiding in the design, manufacture, and validation of equipment.
*Ensure all areas under your control maintain are cleaned regularly.
*Undertake daily inspection checks before commencing any job when working with machinery.
*Undertake administrative tasks that are relevant to duties, ensuring that records are maintained diligently.

The ideal candidate will have either a mechanical or electrical qualification.
