Senior Technical Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the leader food manufactures in the South West as a Senior Technical Manager. The company offers a great package as well as other benefits and this presents you with an opportunity to the be Technical lead for the site.

You will ideally be a Senior Technical Manager or already working as a Head of Technical and have a very good understanding of BRC, HACCP and Customer audits. Some of their customers include Sainsbury's and ASDA.

You will be the site lead for Technical so you will need to have previously done a similar role before. The role will require you to form a great relationship with the operations team so working well in a team and building relationships will also be skills you will need to show.

This role will also test your knowledge of technical improvements as you will be required to look at ways to improve technical procedures, improve food safety and to improve the overall quality of all products.

You will also need to maintain an up to date knowledge of UK and EU legislation for food safety, food labelling and food ingredients.

In order to be considered for this role you will need to:

- Have over 5 years experience working in the food industry ideally as a Senior Technical Manager or Head of Technical

- Have previous auditing experience and have HACCP Level 4

- A degree in food science or a similar degree
