QA Manager

An exciting and fast-growing Food Manufacturing company is looking for a QA Manager to join their team, taking a leadership role to promote Quality and Food Safety in all aspects of the business.



THE QA MANAGER ROLE

The QA Manager will provide technical support (food safety, quality and legality) to the site, manage a team of QA Technicians and working without direct supervision, develop, monitor and ensure compliance to standard procedures in the manufacturing environment and define and implement GMP/GHP standards in the factory. Other key responsibilities will include:Reviewing, developing and maintaining the Quality Management System.Ensuring timely audit reports are maintained and issued.Monitoring the quality and technical performance of various departments taking corrective actions when required. eg: tracking KPI's such as Complaints, Audit NCNs, Internal incidents and Raw materials /Product specifications. Ensure timely investigation of customer complaints and quality incidents.



THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for an experienced QA / Technical professional with a strong background in the food industry. On top of this you will also need:Previous leadership experienceExcellent communication, problem solving and numeracy skills.PC skills with a good understanding of all Microsoft Office packages.Good interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with internal departments and external customers.
