Supply Chain Planning Manager

They are seeking a highly talented, engaging and tenacious Supply Chain Planning Manager to help drive their brand strategy forward.

The Role

In this fast-paced and exciting role, you’ll be reporting directly into the Head of Operations, and be responsible for the daily production planning and order submission to the manufacturing partners. You’ll ensure great supplier performance through delivery of regular KPI review sessions focusing on quality, service and cost.

You will be working with the manufacturing partners, develop the medium to long-term view on capacity and capability to fulfil the future business growth. In addition, you will own and manage the packaging artwork refresh process.

You will take overall responsibility for managing all elements of the inbound transport of goods from the manufacturing sites to 3PL partners. Never being happy with the status quo you’ll be constantly striving to find new ways of working and best practice to drive effective partnerships. This will include updating and redefining supply chain processes that can help deliver a competitive advantage.

You will develop influential relationships with current and future co-manufacturing partners to champion the highest supply planning standards, guaranteeing best-in-class supplier collaboration and delivering first-to-market products, on time, in full. 

The Person

We are looking for a driven and forward-thinking Supply Chain Planning Manager who has gained strong supply planning experience within a fast paced FMCG environment, ideally with chilled short shelf-life products supplied to the UK market.

We need a real foodie, who can develop collaborative relationships with suppliers and co-manufacturers. You’ll need a flexible approach where you can adapt quickly to new challenges and embrace the energy within an entrepreneurial, pacey business.

You’ll also need to have stunning project management skills, and be highly analytical with the ability to interpret data and find the gaps to achieve success. In addition, you will be able to use your varied experience and skills to strategically influence the business, challenging existing practices, creating tools/process improvements and providing solutions to deliver outstanding results.
