Reporting to the Process Manager you’ll play a key role in taking brilliant new products through to a successful launch by evaluating and developing manufacturing processes and procedures. You will support the Innovations team by providing technical solutions and advice on the feasibility of new products, ensuring ranges are commercially viable as well as cost efficient in line with business strategy. Enthusiastic and organised you’ll arrange factory trials, using your keen eye for detail to spot any non-conformances whilst documenting and analysing results for ongoing reviews, certifying that all products are compliant with company safety and quality measures including HACCP. In this varied role you’ll also plan resources and manage day to day tasks including the timely submission of customer samples to ensure project deadlines are met every time.
Suit a passionate food graduate or Process Technologist who has gained experience in a fast paced food manufacturing environment including product launches. You’ll have developed a good knowledge of the technical aspects of food production including HACCP and BRC standards, alongside strong project management skills and the drive to apply continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent communication and relationship building skills are essential as you’ll be liaising closely with internal colleagues and customers at all levels. Strong organisation and prioritisation skills are also crucial for achieving results in this role.
