Technical Manager

We are working exclusively with Freaks of Nature to recruit their next Technical Manager. Leading the market in plant-based and free from Chilled Desserts, they have really come on the scene with a bang, winning several awards since starting up in 2018 including Start Up of the Year and New Product of the Year! 

Although only starting up a few years ago, they are already supplying all of the major retailers with their brand as well as supplying some own label products.

After passing their first BRC audit with Grade A and also becoming a SEDEX member, they are looking for a Technical Manager who is going ensure that systems, policies and procedures remain robust for future growth. 

You will also have a very strong eye for detail, as well as being logical and driven in your approach. You will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and because of the nature of the business, you will also be adaptable.

This is some of the essential experience you will need:

• Experience with running and creating QMS for a food business 
• Hold your Level 3 HACCP certification or above
• Have experienced with high care food production
• Experience with working to retailer codes of practice
• Experience with writing specs
