This is an opportunity to join a talented team working on industry-leading innovation projects.

Here you will be working on NPD and EPD projects for a leading branded manufacturer. It's a varied role working on recipe development and reformulations, factory trials, validation testing and sensory evaluation. You'll be managing your own projects, engaging with suppliers and stakeholders across the business to take products through to successful launch.

You'll be joining an established company that has enjoyed significant recent investment, particularly within R&D. There's a real focus on innovation and sustainability as part of the growth strategy. It's a supportive and agile company that doesn't stifle your creativity with red tape.

Rather than being a small cog in the process, you'll have responsibility for your projects right the way through. This will include researching new trends and working with suppliers to source new and improved ingredients. You'll be hands on formulating recipes and in the factory overseeing trials. You'll have ownership of raw materials and finished product specifications. With support from the technical team you'll manage product testing including shelf life evaluation.

If you enjoy having autonomy, ownership and variety in your role, this can certainly tick those boxes. The role would suit someone with product development experience in food or drink manufacturing along with a Food Science or related degree.

Ideally, you'll be a natural self-starter and problem solver, someone with energy and passion for your work. Happy to roll up your sleeves in the factory, you'll be great at building positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
