QA Co-ordinator

This highly regarded food manufacturer produces delicious products for major retail and food service customers. They are a market leader in their sector and they are now looking for an addition to their QA team to help guarantee the delivery of the highest quality products.

The Role

We’re looking for a confident Quality Coordinator to join their dynamic Technical team. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you’ll be actively involved with all audits including Hygiene and GMP according to set schedules, monitoring and following up on any non-conformances to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.

As a key member of the HACCP team you’ll also ensure the completion, documentation and verification of audit processes, identifying any issues in regular HACCP meetings and using feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Further responsibilities will include day to day QA duties such as ATP Swabs, daily hygiene inspection, QCP checks of recipes, QAS checks on product & taste panels.  In addition you’ll update and maintain systems, observing and analysing test results to guarantee the smooth running of the QA function.

The Person

We are looking for a Food Science or Technology graduate who has some previous experience of managing quality systems for a food manufacturer. You must have excellent organisation and project management abilities as well as first class communication skills as you’ll be working with internal teams to drive projects forward. You’ll also need a good technical understanding of food manufacturing and legislation requirements such as HACCP and GMP.
