An excellent opportunity for an experienced Bakery Technologist to join this highly successful business on a fixed term contract over 12 months.



OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTSJob Security - successful business This is a 12-month Fixed-term contractMonday to Friday role - 7:30am to 16:00hrs.



THE BAKERY TECHNOLOGISTWorking with marketing and consumer insight to develop ideas to answer internal and customer briefsBrainstorming ideas, develop and produce concept samples in the test bakeryEnsuring recipes and launch procedure adhere to highest standardsProactively managing the transition of projects from concept to first productionLeading test bakery and factory trials with operations and site quality teamsLiaising with all site functions to progress projectsProviding factory operatives with coaching and clear instructions where necessaryMonitoring current food/bakery and consumer trends



THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate have a strong background as a Bakery / NPD Technologist from within the food industry ideally with substantial bakery experience. Good ingredients and bakery product knowledgeOperational and factory process experienceIT literate - Microsoft Office SuiteGood communication skills for dealing with internal teams, suppliers and customers NPD bakery experience of 2+ yearsThis is a hands-on role; therefore need to be happy working in both a development and production environment with a good ability to formulate recipes and develop products.Bakery related degree or qualification would be desirable
