The Role

Reporting into the Supply Chain Director, in this pivotal technical role you’ll be responsible for the quality and safety of all the company’s products across global markets.  You will take responsibility for the technical integrity of new & existing products, ensuring they match the quality consumers expect of the brand.

You will work closely with 3^rd party manufacturing partners, managing the technical and regulatory relationship, driving improvements and future proofing the supply chain.  You will also take the lead with strategic technical innovation and development projects and work collaboratively with the Food team and external partners.

The Candidate

Suit a Food Science or Technology graduate who has solid technical experience from within food FMCG, retail or manufacturing sectors. This will include knowledge of food safety management systems, HACCP, food legislation, auditing, supplier management and understanding the NPD process.  You’ll also have a natural curiosity and are keen to keep up to speed on technical innovation, trends in ingredients and packaging so the business is at the top of their game.

As well as great technical and quality management expertise you must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, can influence at all levels and work with internal teams to provide workable solutions. You will also collaborate with colleagues in different counties with regular overseas travel so flexibility, excellent communication and team working skills are needed too.
