The job

As Customer Service Administrator, you will be a main point of contact for trade customers, sales and other departments, answering queries and providing information as requested. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in multiple areas of the business in this varied role.

Core duties:

• Sales order processing for customers ensuring all information is accurate.
• Data entry of sales orders into Excel and Sage 200.
• Booking deliveries via phone, email, or web portals.
• Liaising with the Planning Team for production dates for orders, emailing customers to confirm orders received and advise on delivery dates.
• Managing stock levels in excel for major supermarkets.
• Ensuring orders are despatched on time and in full.

Your experience

The role would suit an individual with a calm and diplomatic nature who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You will have solid administration, order processing or customer service experience, most ideally within a food manufacturing or other FMCG production business.

You will have a confident telephone manner, have excellent communication skills and be IT literate including intermediate Excel. Sage 200 knowledge would be an advantage; however training will be given.

The Customer Services Assistant job is based in Essex and is paying £22,000.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 7.30 am – 4.30 pm. You may also be required to work up to 15 Saturday shifts per year.
