Our client is a market leader for supplying the UK Supermarkets with high-quality fresh produce. With a fantastic market presence, they have built an exceptional reputation for the products they produce and supply.

About the Job

As Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the processes between the supplier and the warehouse to ensure smooth and efficient logistical processes are maintained. With the business importing the majority of their product, the business needs an individual to liaise and manage this process, most often than not, dealing with their Freight agent to ensure that this process is on time and efficient. You will be required to conduct you're your work in a timely manner, whilst remaining commercially minded, by staying within budgetary requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

Being successful as a Logistics Coordinator, the individual must have an excellent knowledge of inbound logistics, including import. You must have experience in managing similar processes. The individual must be logical, well organised, and have a systematic way of working with meticulous attention to detail. Ideally, the candidate will come from a Fresh Produce or FMCG background, having had to handle the movement of product with specific time restraints.
