The role
Very exciting innovative business seeking a Chemistry based Analyst to join them at the site in Essex. Strong potential for growth and development. This is a global organisation and a leader in their field
The candidate
You will have a background and passion for the food industry, A sound knowledge of HPLC and perhaps some experience in MS and GC. you will be just as happy working solely or as part of a team.
Duties and responsibilities
- Contact for the laboratory and QA function
- To ensure that all agreed food hygiene and safety standards are continually adhered to
- To ensure all technical issues are dealt with effectively, efficiently and findings are reported promptly.
- To ensure the onsite laboratory is well run and meeting required standards.
- To maintain and control the day-to-day operation ensuring that the quality standard is sustained to a high level.
- Use the best test methods and standards to meet the business need, with efficient use of sophisticated test equipment such as the HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography)
