Senior Innovation Manager

They are now seeking a Senior Innovation Manager who shares their vision and drive to help develop and implement their innovation strategy for this famous brand.

The Role

In this influential role you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing a rich pipeline of innovation into the business, leading from the ground up to drive presence in the market place. Up to date with the latest trends, you'll apply your knowledge and passion for food to generate innovative ideas that will drive growth for existing and new platforms, guiding the innovations team to develop exciting new concepts that are first to market.

Taking ownership of product development from concept to launch, you will encourage cross-functional teams to contribute to the success of products with a focus on innovation as well as quality and efficiency. You will also work closely with the marketing innovations team to identify new opportunities, working in collaboration to help deliver the strategic vision. 

You’ll also play a role in supplier strategy, ensuring every aspect of the product offering matches the company’s passion and authenticity down to the last crumb. Cultivating strong relationships with suppliers and customers, you will ensure this well-known brand stays ahead of its competitors.

The Candidate

Suit a creative, tenacious and credible NPD Manager who has experience of working in a diverse range of product categories and is ready to take the next step up in this strategic innovations role. As well as a degree in food science / technology, you will have bountiful experience within food manufacturing, retail or QSR and will be happy to be hands on when needed.

You will have a proven track record of delivering NPD strategy from concept to launch with an exceptional understanding of food trends, ingredients, seasonality and range planning in order to really influence the direction of this business. Brimming with ideas and inspiration you’ll have experience in bringing products to market that have pushed the boundaries and really made an impact. Your project management skills will be second to none, along with excellent organisation and influencing abilities.
