Want to maximise your future career? Move into this Customer focused role while still maintaining your love of forecasting and demand planning.
Recognising patterns can be fun. But when it is in 3D it is even more fun. And this role is the professional equivalent of this, because the role will see you focus heavily on demand planning and forecasting, but the added dimension will be that it broadens your commercial ability and skills as well.
Why is this a good thing? Well firstly it gives breadth and depth to your role which should see more variety and hopefully a more fulfilling, dare I say it enjoyable role. Secondly, that breadth and depth will help your skillset and give you more opportunities into the future as you progress your career.
You will be performing this role for an industry leader with multiple customers and commercially they have a strong business ethos. This role has come about due to internal promotion and in fact you will be reporting into the person who previously did this role so there is a wealth of information and knowledge that the Line Manager is happy to help guide, support and coach you with.
What do you need to be able to do? Recognising patterns and further than this starting to be able to predict them. But doing it in a numbers driven way, this business has moved away from gut feel and intuition to a numbers driven approach and close collaboration with their key customers (of which there are many).
This business is working in the food manufacturing sector so ideally you will have had experience of this sector but really if you have had experience of manufacturing and can operate at pace, have done forecasting/demand planning and want to manage a small team please apply today.
This role will be interesting, rewarding and open doors in your future career. Mystic Meg needn't apply but if you think you are good at predicting the future based on accurate forecasting, this company will be interested to hear from you.
