Reporting to the Sales Director you will be contributing to the development of new concepts and updating existing products in line with exciting new trends and customer briefs.
You’ll be assisting with concept samples, costings, taste panels, preparation of internal & external presentations as well as liaising with suppliers to source new ingredients. You’ll be responsible for all critical paths to make sure products are successfully launched.
You will work with the technical & production team to help drive products through the NPD process ensuring they meet quality standards, are commercially viable and of a premium standard. You’ll also communicate with the commercial and marketing teams to conduct product reviews, benchmarking, and competitor analysis.
This would suit an ambitious and creative NPD professional looking to apply their acquired knowledge and skills in a fast moving NPD role. Ideally you will have had some bakery experience within a food manufacturing environment.
A genuine passion for bakery and the determination to succeed, you will possess excellent communication and organisation skills, coupled with the ability and enthusiasm to learn quickly and be proactive in the development of your career.
