We are currently looking to recruit a Business Manager to join the Arla PRO foodservice Business Unit on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a great opportunity to join the team, managing customers in the National Wholesale arena. As a Business Manager you will join our commercial team based at our head office in Leeds and will report to the Channel Business Unit Director
Key operational responsibilities:
- Effective negotiation and management of the annual business planning process/ promotional planning
- Delivery of key financial targets set by portfolio
- Management of monthly S&OP process for portfolio
- Quarterly/ Annual tender negotiations, price management directives
- Delivery of an own label and branded innovation pipeline
To be successful in this role you will be a graduate-level, results driven individual, with experience of a commercial role within FMCG. You will typically have experience of a similar national account role working within a foodservice operation. You will be responsible for a broad level of business contact, highly organised with excellent numerical ability, strong influencing and communication skills. A team player with good knowledge of the foodservice market, in particular the wholesale channel with experience of managing a branded and own label portfolio would also be desirable. Above all you will have a passionate can-do attitude with a strong desire to succeed.
