Production & Packing Assistant

The Company

We are a small but fast growing food manufacturing company based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, which produces a one-of-a-kind product that is supplied to customers globally.

The Job

The Production and Packing Assistant will assist in all aspects of production, working to a high level of accuracy to meet production targets. There is a high degree of manual labour involved (both light and heavy items). The role may also involve assistance in packing as needed.

Core Duties

• Assist in all aspects of food production
• Ensure all products are manufactured to the highest quality
• Accurately record production information
• Assist with product sorting and packaging
• Loading/unloading duties
• You will be required to carry out multiple tasks given by the supervisor
• Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene and Safety rules and standards

Requirements

• Excellent time keeping & hard-working attitude

• Must be able to read & write in English
• Must have basic maths knowledge
• Able to work as a team & alone
• Food production experience is preferred

Your Experience

You will need to possess experience in a food production environment and will also need to have a strong awareness of health & safety in a production / manufacturing environment. Any relevant qualifications such as Food Hygiene, Food Safety etc. are highly desirable.

Good attention and good communication skills are required. Should be a team player who is willing to be agile and adapt as needed.
