The Company
Our client is a highly successful division of a major FMCG company operating across a number of diverse categories. The company hold the number 1 brand position in each of their 3 respective categories worth a combined £170m+ of retail sales! Still proudly privately owned and entrepreneurial, our client has some really exciting future growth plans for both existing and new brands, supported by targeted marketing investment. They now wish to appoint an experienced and influential Demand Planner to join their inclusive team.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Planning, you will be responsible for the accuracy of the demand plan, ensuring future demand forecast is created and any supply constraints are understood. You will create, mantain and alter forecast models for your customers and brands to create a 24-month demand plan.
Working closely with sales, marketing, finance, supply and operations, you will display trust and integrity, building robust relationships to ensure business KPIs are achieved. The position is Gloucestershire based, however there will be flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week, post lockdown.
About You
Of graduate calibre, you will have gained experience in a Demand Planner role, preferably within an FMCG company.
Excellent communication skills are essential and you must be confident liaising across departments, both internal and external to the company. You must possess good analytical and numerical skills along with strong team working skills. An advanced level of competency in Microsoft Excel is essential. You will need to demonstrate that you have worked with an IBP cycle. A working knowledge of demand planning software tools would also be advantageous.
