The job
The Data Controller will have responsibility for managing all required data across the product lifecycle for both existing products and for the launch of new products which are manufactured in house and at outsourced manufacturers.
You will manage large amounts of information and the flow of product data and pack copy from conception to launch by working closely with various internal departments. You will ensure that all product development data is accurate, complete and adheres to the company product lifecycle process.
You will coordinate data for internal and external audits which covers ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) impact. You will track suppliers and company performance, working with various departments to make recommendations for improvements and highlighting risk. You will also be the contact for all customer enquiries relating to ESG questionnaires.
Your experience
To be considered for the Data Controller role, you will ideally be educated to a degree, A-Level or equivalent standard within a data management, project management or other relevant disciplines.
The ideal background will be someone who has worked in a data or admin heavy role, preferably from a fast-paced, multi-product environment plus experience using SAP business administration software. Knowledge of new product process development and product artwork is also desirable.
You will have a systematic work approach, be comfortable working with large amounts of data and have excellent accuracy. Strong communication skills are essential to communicate effectively with multiple business departments.
You will be a natural problem-solver with the ability to prioritise work to meet key performance objectives. Knowledge and an interest in sustainability is also an advantage, although experience in this area is not essential.
A driving licence is needed due to location.
