So, as the Technical Manager you'll have close contact with the customer, attending factory trials at locations in the UK and worldwide, advising on compliance and regulatory requirements, product specs, packaging and labelling. Naturally, bringing new products to market means close working with the NPD and Commercial teams.

To be successful you'll need a minimum of 5 years' food technical experience with exposure to new product launches from concept to shelf. A degree in a Food Science or similar is preferable. Working to BRC standards, you'll need a good understanding of retailer accreditation systems, QMS, HACCP, internal and third-party auditing. Above all you'll embrace building robust customer relationships, working proactively to drive technical excellence and innovation.
